Was in the process of putting gas in the boat looked up and noticed that the black paint in the bass logo on the steering wheel had flaked off of two of the three bass logos not a major crisis just a little disappointed as I have only had the boat out once since I got it . Granted it sat covered in the my yard since November when I got the boat . Anyone else have this happen ?
I think it has happened to several folks. My 2009, never had any, even when new. I kind of like the look actually. It has the sculpted indentations of the BCB logo, just no paint or decals.
Maybe its a PIV thing. My 2013 PIV decals just fell off too. I tried using a sharpie to color them in but Im no artist, lol. Called Basscat and they said they would send me new decals. I have been very pleased with the customer support from Basscat. Ed
Unfortunately, its not just a PIV thing. Its a decal thing. You can paint them, decal them, color them, wrap them,,,,,, it isnt gonna matter, aluminum is tough to adhere anything to. Me, Im going fishing, and like the fact my steering just works properly !
