Pantera II fuel tanks

I had a question about the Pantera II fuel tanks. How does the 10 gal Aux tank work with them? I was looking and noticed the boat has two fuel doors and the left/right fuel switch. I am guessing that the fuel door by the passenger seat is for the 33 gal tank under the seat and the door in the rear is for the aux tank? With the two tanks will you have to switch back and forth to balance the fuel or is it possible to just run from the 33 gal tank all the time and leave the 10 gal empty? Sorry if this is too wordy or a little confusing. Thanks

It is exactly as you say……………fuel cap at passenger side is for the under the seat tank and the rear is for the auxilary tank. One does not have to switch back and forth to balance the fuel and its possible to run from the 33 gallon tank at all times. Though one would want to turn over the fuel in the rear tank every once in a while to prevent bad gas.

That is correct and on a P2 it acts more like a Reserve on a motorcycle tank. BCB
