Pantera II vs. Pantera Classic

Does anyone know the ballpark price difference between the 2022 Pantera II (not SP) and Pantera Classic with all standard equipment and 200 HP Mercury ProXs 4 stroke?

I don’t know about 2022, but I was quoted about $3000 less for the Classic with 3” tandem vs P2 with single axle 3 years ago with 200 2 stroke when I bought the Sabre my dealer had in stock. The Classic was $44k+ and P2 $47K+. This was stock everything with Fortrexx 80 on both to order with colors I wanted and no hotfoot.

Mercury also makes a V6 200 4 stroke that might save you a little bit of money as well. Probably not as fast, but lighter and still gets the job done. It’s supposed to be a bit more fuel efficient too.

I’m sure it depends on timing, but is there still a demand for used P2s in the market? How do you think the used Pantera Classic model compares to the Pantera 2??

I had the local dealer quote a new classic with a 200 Yamaha a couple months ago and to be honest I’m still a little shocked. I had the PE resin upgraded, a 36v ultrex, padded deck, and poles added to the build. Left all the graphs off the quote and it was a tick over 66k. Both are sweet layouts but very different. The wider front deck appeals more to my needs as I’ve got 2 little guys that love to fish with dad. I’m still trying to figure out what to do. But if they want 66k for a classic with no graphs, it makes both the Puma and PII special packages look very appealing.

66k for that Classic sounds high to me. I bought a Classic with 200 Pro XS, no poles but two 10 inch graphs, upgraded 4 inch trailer and 24 volt Ultrex two years ago. I know prices have gone up, but not not to the degree that figure would indicate. When you upgrade a Classic to the 4 inch trailer, the price gets close to a P2, but a few more upgrades standard on the P2 (seats, Pro Air, choice of cap colours). FWIW, I went from a 2015 P2 to a 2019 Classic. Both great boats with a 200 Pro XS. I like the width up front of the Classic as I am not quite as graceful as I used to be LOL.

I inquired about the pricing of the newest models. The standard P2 is roughly $5k more than the standard Pantera Classic with both models being packaged by a 200 ProXs.
