Pantera III seat removal

Ok so Im finally getting around to redoing the seat covers. The bottoms of the seats are self explanitory but how do you get the backs off. I see a rivited on piece of stainless steel that goes down the back of the seats. Can anyone help.”if your not livin on the edge then your takin up to much room!”

Hmm year and model may help but I remember reading if it a bench seat that the are some slits in the bottom of the upper seats you have to look for and inside them are the screws. Not sure if this is the same as yours but there you go

On a 99 model there are small slits under the seat in the back. These are not noticeable until you research that area. The slits will have screws in them, and they are Phillips or #2 Square drive on a 99. The screws are simply screwed through the vinyl. They are stuffed through the foam. The three locations are back left, back right, on each side, and front of the arm. Lift the cushion and probe around till you find the tiny” hole, and you will find the screws. BCB
