I have my cougar FTD sold ,and was going to go with a caracal but I was also thinking of a Pantera ll, I really like the caracals beam and storage, but if I go with a Pantera ll i can really load it out. So my question is have any of you came out of puma ftd or a cougar FTD , and went with a Pantera ll, is the Pantera rocky when some walks around in back ,how is it in rough water, do you sit up higher in a Pantera ? Thanks

Ive been in a p2 for a couple years now. As far as rocking it would take a pretty big boy going left to right pretty fast for me to tell them to calm down. I do think you sit up higher in a p2 than a caracal. It handles rough water very well and with some seat time you will be passing other brands with 250s rough or not. My partner and I stand shoulder to shoulder on the front deck every time we fish a tournament. I love how fast the holeshot is and that will be a deciding factor when looking at another model. I like the big wide deck of the caracal but I feel it will fish bigger in the shallow stumpy lakes I fish. If I was a deep structure guy I could see its benefits.

Id be inclined to get the new classic and upgrade what can be upgraded to a premium level boat, just my two cents

Yeah the Pantera Classic would definitely need a look.
