PII Passenger Rod Rack

I have a 89 Pantera II. What, if anything, has anyone used for a passenger rod rack? Ive got a few ideas but wanted to ask yall.

There is a limit on room down the passenger side of a bench seat of that late 80s P2. There is now solid design there as we all just piled the rods in that box corner and let them dangle out the rear in those days.

You could get one of the BassCat web straps and mount on the side at the same angle the rods lean. At least it keeps them from moving around. Thats what I did on my 89 sabre96 Eyra/12 Mercury 175 Pro XS with 2015 single axle trailer2017 Victory Gunner

I remember seeing a rod rack system that simply sat under the edge of the rear compartment lids . — 2 pieces . — One on either side , and it was a solid looking setup . — Rods went between outboard and the rear seat , across the rear . — Ill see if I can find it again . — Hoss

NJBass, that looks great. I may do that to mine as well. I wonder where those grommets for the holes come from?I too am blown away by your carpet!
