Topic: Pinpoint Graph only shows top half of screen????

Alright guys heres one for you I went out today on Bullshoals and my Pinpoint Tr-320 graph in my console would only show the top half of the screen the bottom half was totally “not there” it seemed like is was running along like the screen normally does you just couldnt see the bottom half. I havent got the books out yet to trouble shoot just thought somebody might have an idea??? It is on a 05 cougar and it runs gps with the front graph. Any ideas. Thanks in advance. Ive got to get it fixed, my need to sell getting the itch.

The bad news here is that PinPoint units are not that reliable and you have a problem that you probably cant fix. Youll have to send it in to get repaired. The upside to PinPoint unit is that the sonar is good. One thing you might try is to place it around some heat. They hate moisture and drying it out may help it come back to life if it got wet. You can try and return it for a repair, though we think you would be better investing to go ahead and replace it. The 320 is a nice unit, though reliability suffers. The component failing is a board driver, and a good electronics shop might be able to fix it also. BCB

About all you can try yourself is to reset the unit to the factory default by hitting the “0” key ten times untill the unit turns off. Good luck-Joe.
