So on a Cougar FTD with a 250 Yamaha VMax; to get a good hole shot do i put the jack plate at 0-1? I am plowing with it there and not getting the front to come off the steep rise. Do i need to just commit to the hole shot and it will pop out? I know once it pops to raise the jack plate and trim for performance, using the RPMs as a guide. I have a 25″ Fury prop and full fuel.
