Places to stay for the 2015 OI?

Making plans for the OI, and would like some input from those that fished Big Sam last time. Where are some good places to stay? Any to avoid? Thanks, and hope to see you there!

Bass Buster Inn is the most convenient, restaurant, tackle shops, convenience store, and beauty parlor within walking distance, and gas station, and Umphress is about three minutes away. Im staying there. Rayburn Country is supposed to be nice and is almost as convenient but good luck getting someone on the phone. There are several motels in Jasper, about 15 minutes away. Dont delay. we booked a cabin at Powell park, I think it is right across lake from Umphreys, does anyone know if this is a good place or not?Treat everyday like it might be the last

Will be staying @ Janes. Stayed there couple times last year. Pretty convenient and quiet.

Powell Park is ok . it is about a 5 mile run by water, 30 miles by road. open water all the way , no timber , with the lake level up no shallow spots.
