Can you imagine catching an 11.14 in September on a Super Spook? Thats how the most recent fish entered into the lunker program was caught. I havent been below Lowes Creek but I havent seen much grass at all and have been hearing most of it is gone. There were rumors that it was sprayed but I spoke to a biologist and he said neither Texas nor Louisiana had targeted submerged vegetation. He said that they thought the high water has something to do with it but that it really wasnt murky enough to block the sunlight penetration. So its just kind of a mystery what has happened to the grass this year.
