Political response on BCB Owners Board

Folks, It has come to our attention that there has been an individual with a question on the use of the Owners Board for political reasons. It has been used for many things as time has passed. Much more than just a board for boats. Many friends chat, gossip and rib each other on here! While we definitely can see the point in that political concern. That thread was originally used by an individual boat owner to offer an opinion on Mike Huckabees success in the recent caucus. The thread was brought back up as a congratulatory action for Mike Huckabee on his season. In no way do we feel that Mike will win today on Super Tuesday. Though we do think he is a very strong candidate. As for Sale Tax and no IRS, it works in Tennessee. As for his global perspective, he is strong. Though he only started with $2,000,000 in a campaign race where Mitt has exhausted more than this of his own funds. Nothing against McCain or Romney, just that Mike has been a struggler since the first day. . It does become a little more emotional and folks here follow Mikes activity more, as many have met him at the Owners Invitational and other areas as Governor of Arkansas, and the folks from Texarkana have long supported him as a preacher prior to his political aspirations. He was a Bass Cat owner before his Governorship, and we hope he continues to be one for many years to come! We have never moderated and censored this board, and we hope you all feel that you have the right to express your opinions and as long as those posts are realistic and valid, we have a solid policy that we have been able to adhere to. I agree with BCBs post 100%. It has been said dont discuss politics or religion”. I do not agree with that. Politics affects everything we do. Discussing them is as importatnt as what rod, reel, lure, motor or boat we use and there have been pros and cons for all of them. Except boats. Whom ever the next president or party in power might be, it will affect our sport and life style. Either good or bad. I dont think Mike will come out on top today, but he will carry a lot of weight at the convention. May be as a vice presidential running mate. We live in a great country. Debate, (arguments) has made it that way. Sitting on the fence wont catch fish. Martin

Thanks Lee, I appreciate that, but, i dont think my stance on death row inmates, or my foreign policy, would get me far ! I could clear death row in about two weeks(front line in IRAQ), and as far as foreign policy, well, lets just say id make things a little more “level” of a playing field !(parking lot !) I do think it would make for a good BBQ on the white house lawn !!! And attending the Invitational would be interesting to say the least,,,,,,,Can you hear it now, The President has taken the week off to attend meetings at “Camp Doug” , and will be fishing from his new presidential BassCat ???? OSAMA, OBAMA, YO MAMA — LOL – oh my gosh that is too funny! Mike Huckabee is doing very well tonight. When listening to the debates and the speeches I can not understand why he is not winning every state. Im in Ohio and hope I get a chance to vote for him!!!
