I would suggest that you be a little less terse in some of your replies. People who ask questions on this web site deserve detailed answers. If you cant do the job, give someone else a shot. Realize this is a free service, but anything worth doing is worth doing properly. The last time I voiced this concern I got a lot of flack. Looking forward to hearing from you brain surgeons who already know the answers.
I think the website it great! It would be nice to have another color selector to match the new Eyra, Cougar FTD, and Jag schemes. Most of the small stuff can be handled through the dealers (electronics, TM, etc). Everything else is really easy to use, which ranks high on my list!
You have an excellant web site. Keep up the good work. From a brain surgeon who has no answers!
Flash content, boat in action, get rid of the font on the new page it looks aribic, i tried to read R-to-LFlash
More videos of the boats in action ,like the JAG and the EYRA – stop and start and at WFO . Maybe a side action shot of these 2 boats or all the boats each in action in rough water . Other than that the website is great . Well , maybe a few backdoor memo deals at a inhouse dealer but you cant have it all ……..lol Keep up the great work .
Since I cant figure out the fish most of the time I am one of the performance guys. I liked the video of some woodpecker whose name begins with an “I” that knows a little bit about driving a Cat. If I remember correctly he had both arms in the air at 80 mph. Probably dont want all of us trying that though. He makes it look so easy.I think side by side running videos or shooting one coming at the video camera would look pretty cool. Floating worm, you beat me to it!!!!!
Ive always been slightly confused when I look at the clothing page and see a picture of the half frame sunglasses but their not offered on the sunglasses page……. I happen to like the looks of the half frame. Would like to have another pair with the magnifying lens. Using Wally World Berkleys now. Hmmmmm EdThat one slipped by us, fixed it now. – BCBLast edited by conan1.basscatowners on July 20th, 2012, 10:44 pm, edited 1 time in total.”Political Correctness is a doctrine fostered by a delusional illogical minority, and rapidly promoted by an unscrupulous main- stream media which holds forth the proposition that it is entirely possible to pick up a turd by the clean end.”
I would say when you get on website and hover over “Owners Board” and click on it, it should then direct you to the different sections to choose from. As it is now, it takes one straight to this board when they may actually just need to see the “FAQ” section to find answers to their questions. Or pick from “Props” etc.Under Parts/Accessories, there is “garage sale”, which is the “props” section. Why not just rename Props as “Garage Sale” ?Overall, it is a great source of information. I realize there are several different people that are moderators under the “Bass Cat Boat” name/avatar, and no two are the same as far as giving assistance. I dont mind having someone post a “FAQ” link to a question, as it encourages people to take initiative to find answers based on similar questions. This is the owner manual for the boats, and BC does a pretty darn good job of trying to assist with questions not necessarily related to them, but the other vendors that may not have a board to answer or adequate customer service. It aint perfect, but it is better than anything else………just my .02 cents.96 Eyra/12 Mercury 175 Pro XS with 2015 single axle trailer2017 Victory Gunner
I think the boat pictures on each models page makes them look a lot narrower than what they actually are. I think this is because each picture is taken from the back of the boat which gives the impression that the boat has a large back deck and narrow front deck. Pictures taken from the top center would probably not distort the actual size of the boat.
