pop axle question

I searched the forums but couldnt find any info on how to engage a pop axle. I got a used P4 last year and the guy showed me but I forget how it is engaged . I have a 9″ garage door which makes it pretty difficult getting in and out so I want to try it with the pop axle. Any help appreciated.

I have to drive onto a 2 2″ blocks with the front axle and then pull the pin and slide the block underneath the front axle to hold it up…when you jack the front of the trailer up, there shouldnt be any weight on the front axle making shoving the nose over much easier

Its that simple, we use a 4″ x 4″ block or 3×3 and it should do as described.

I sure cant add anything to this thread but I am dying to know what a “pop” axles is and does??

They support a front axle and suspend the axle in the air allowing it to pivot on the rear axle for manual storing and handling like a single axle ease.
