I recently purchased an 06 Puma with trailer that has the pop axle option. The mans widow stated the axle had never worked since new. Even took it back to the dealer and they could not figure it out. After jacking the trailer up I found the center spring hanger was not rotating. I fixed that. Then with the back of the front spring againt the frame, the plug or whatever they are called did not fit under the axle. Also let me state, the trailer only came with one original plug and it was on the left side. It did slide in when the tire was jacked up. Anyway, the dealership had given the deceased two new plugs. They are made where the handles set in opposing directions. I tried to place the left plug under the axle and it would not fit. I got to noticing it is much thicker. IS THIS NORMAL? Also noticed the receiver on both sides are mounted on very diffent angles. IS THIS NORMAL? I now have it working but both handles are facing towards the left side of the boat. DO I NEED TO READJUST THE ANGLE OF THE RECEIVERS?
