Power pole adapter help

About to install poles on 2002 classic with slidemaster. For guys with a similar setup, do you have what power pole recommends, the s-2-2? I know this works, though it also appears like there is limited clearance between the adapter and gel coat. Just wanted to make sure there wasnt a better option before ordering tomorrow.

Clearance are tight on some Power Pole brackets and we do not suggest which style because Power Pole offers so many variations and they have changed greatly over time.

Im not sure it would work on that year as im certain you have a 6 inch plate, i have the 8 inch plate (slidemaster) on my Puma and it gives about 3/4″ clearance between the bracket and the hull. Hopefully others will chime in to give you a better answer if they have installed them with the 6 inch plate. Also if they do fit get the additional bracing makes them much more steady.
