can a power pole be put on a hydro jack plate or does it haft to be mounted on the boat i was told the pole cant be installed on a hydro jack plate but i dont know for sure
Sure it can. What kind of plate do you have?

Youll have to get the bracket that goes between the plate and the motor. I put one on mine this spring with a Detwiller.
I have two mounted on my Puma with a Detwiller plate. It mounts between the motor and the plate
