power pole or MKtalon

Thinking of getting a stop stick, pros and cons would be great. power-pole or talon. 6 foot or 8. Single pole or duel. How heavy is it and what does it do to the hole shot. Is there a big difference in single or dual as far as hole-shot and top end goes. I run an 07 puma with 225 PXS. Thanks

We are cautious as everyones needs are different. For an five year old or more rig we would try to conserve dollars as cost are not able to be regained on resale should you upgrade. The selection we like is Power Pole, though Talon has benefits for some uses.

If you get one, Id definitely get an 8 footer, the power pole outsells the Talon up in our part of the northwest by at least 10-1. If you were to upgrade boats at some point you can always take the power pole and mount with you. I can only afford one, my team partner has two on his triton, 2 are nice to have but youll be a lot happier with one rather than none.
