Quick measure shows BCB is right. It is a 6″ slidemaster, not 4″. Yeah, Rich said he just worked with guy that had Basscat and the PP recommended mounting plates did not work, which is what prompted him calling PP. PP claimed they would work but they hit the sponses (dont know if using correct terminology). It also looks like they would be way to close to the motor and would hit cowling when turning. In addition, it appears that the angle of the transom would make the poles not sit at all level with the current plates. Will I need wedges also to help account for this? Am I the only person to ever put poles on a PII?:)BCB…a little confused by response. So is this mount a single piece that spans jackplate and allows for mounting of two poles or is it two pieces just like the ones I have in hand? Guess I could contact power pole and ask for mount for 3″ verdo plate on any basscat model?
