As some of you know I bought the company that manufactures the finest American Made sealant polish ever formulated for gel coat and paint. It is Pro Tec Products(www.protecproducts.com) when I purchased the company the first thing I did was called Rick Pierce and asked him if I could put a Basscat boat on my label.(take a look at it, looks great) He said “Of course thats good stuff” well it took me a little while to get everything in place as far as labels being printed correctly and new bottles to update the previous look so I decided not to put this on the Basscat Forum until I knew everything was perfect.(I know how picky some of us can be) Im pretty sure for those of you that have used Pro Tec you can vouch for this product. I am currently working with a few guys from the forum to help promote our products. For those of you who are not familiar with our products please look at the web site and ask questions here on the forum or a few of the other forums. What Pro-Tec product would I use to do the same job that Bass Boat Saver does? I have heard a lot of good things about Pro-Tec. Just curious as to which product I would use to wipe my boat down after each time out of the water. (Thats what I do with BBS. I use it in lieu of waxing.)

Billius…BBS is no where close to what Pro-Tec can make your boat look like. BBS is good but if you use the Pro Tec product you will see it is hands down the best polish available and will only make BBS look better when used. Give it a try.

I would be interested in trying it for sure. Hope to find someplace local that sells it. Shipping is really high on the website. But then its high for BBS too, but I get it at Sherms when I am up there.

Im using Pro-Tec and love it. I am not getting the scum lines as bad as I used to fishing these dirty lakes down in South GA.

As stated earlier we offer Showroom Conditioner. The difference in ours and others it is formulated without any paraffins or wax therefore it offers the same protection as similar products without letting dirt and scum be captured in the product. That is why you will experience less scum lines and easier to remove scum lines. Keep in mind if your gel coat is not sealed you will fight a dirt or scum line every time you use the boat.
