everything was working fine and now….only functions on the a10 that are working are the horn and bilge. everything else is dead. installed a new panel and had the same problems. from that i deduced its not the panel itself. what could cause most of the a10 to die?? if i hot wire the components that the a10 control they all work…but not through the a10. im at a loss as to what could be the problem. help!!

There are two power feeds to the A10, one from the battery for the bulge pumps and horn/security/compartments lights, one through the master power switch for everything else. Check that you have power to the panel through both, if you do, thoroughly check the ground block mounted on the transom for loose or broken wires. And crimped connections that are not tight.

There are several posts relating to the A10 dash and function. One thing to remember on hot wiring components that operate is the A10 dash has circuit protection built in, if the components are bad it will prevent operation as they degrade, when hot wiring they will only stop when they melt down.

i hot wired them to test the components. nav lights, horn, etc. all are in good working order. did not leave them direct wired. if i cant get the a10 to work ill replace it with a panel ill make that uses toggle switches for the functions on the a10.

Sorry I havent responded sooner been away from the house. Iv looked for the old thread that had a picture of the junction block on back wall but couldnt find it. It was from like 2008. I actually found the thread by googling it. I will keep looking for it. I bet you have similar problem. I would check every connection back there.
