The wires come from the sending unit at the engine and are brown with a white strip we think. The FF and FF are hexadecimal code for settings. One side is the signal, the other the setting and the two sides should match as the trim comes up at every setting when the program sequence is complete. You 1.) push the program, settings match 2 signal digits, 2:) trim up, program the segment, settings match, 3:) trim up, push the program, settings match signal digits again. Press program segments twice each time, and once you have programmed all 9 segments, save the settings. BCB
