I have a Cougar with a 250 verado on it. It has a 27 Tempest prop and is slugish getting out of the hole…any idea??? Looking for different prop…What prop?

We would think on this rig a 25 or 26 Fury would be the suggested, a 27 Tempest would not.

my buddy has a puma with a verado and he runs a 4 blade and i think it is bravo xs 1 26 pitch and runs a solid 74 mph at full loadhope this helps

Im running a 26P Bravo on a Puma with 250 Vrod. I only ran the boat a couple times last year, but it seems to handle good and sure isnt sluggish out of the hole.

Thanks guys. Looking into a new prop and heard the Bravo or Fury was the ones to get…Will see what happens.

Well….Bought a Bravo 1FS and WOW..What a difference. Boat gets out of the hole quick and runs good. Havent had the chance yet to open it up but I did have it going 70 easyly. Thanks for all the info.
