Im running a 25 tempest on a 05 classic with a 200 EFI. I want a fury, should I stay with a 25p or change with the fury. Thanks for any info.

run a tad smaller Fury and we think you will be happy.

If its a 3.0 i would say same or bigger. If your nt on the limiter , maybe smaller. Its just a touch harder to turn than the temp.

Its a 2.5L. Is there a big change or difference in the tempest and fury? Is it worth the extra dollars?

The 25 fury falls in between the 25 and the 26 tempest in my experience on pitch, speed, and rpms with a great holeshot. This would probably be a good question for ShapfromLa.

My prop is dinged up and needs reworked if that matters, but im turning about 5400-5500 I believe. Im thinking I should go to a 24p Fury.

A friend of mine has an 06 Classic w/05 2.5 200efi he has run a 25 & 26 tempest plus-both on the rev limiter. Now granted the 26 is really? because the even pitch tempests are not known for true pitch. After my urging he has a 26 Fury-not on or run yet, but I believe he will run 5900 with it at close to 75. I would send your prop to mark croxton (the prop moderater on bbc) and have him fix it first, then retry before ordering your Fury. You will want a back up prop anyway. John S.
