I have a 2009 P-II that I just bought (used). It has a 25P Fury prop on it with all the plugs pulled. It seems to be too much prop for this outboard. What normally comes on this rig from the dealers? A friend has the same boat (2007) with a 26P Tempest Plus and it seems to do a lot better. I just started driving this boat so Im a little hesitant to let it run WOT for a long enough period of time to get the max RPMs but Im seeing about 5100/5200 (SmartCraft gauge) on relatively short WOT runs. And it seems to get pretty squirrely :>) It launches really easy though – no effort for that 200 Opti. Thanks!FISH ON!

We would suggest a 24 Fury or a 25 or 24 Trophy on this set up ourselves. BCB

No offence but it really doesnt seem to be your prop. You just need more seat time. The 25 Fury is a great prop for your rig. Its not to tall for the motor you have. With jack plate position, and guts to stay in the motor. Im sure youll be happy. Glynn
