I have a 2021 Cougar FTD with a 250 merc 4-stroke. With a medium load I am turning 6,000 RPM and getting about 78-79 mph. I have power poles. I am turning a 25P Fury. During the warmer months, my hole shot is pretty slow. I am looking at getting a 24P Fury 4-blade for the summer. I think this will also be a prop for rough water. Any reconditions or experience with this set up?

Hi, I used to run a 25 on my Cougars but have gone to the 24 as I have added poles and the extra weight of tha AGM battery and larger troller and graphs to catch the wind. Better out of the hole and only a bit slower on the top end. I used to change from summer to winter but now just run the 24 all the time.
