I have a 2000 saber with a mariner 150(hydrolic jack plate). I am running a 25 tempest, it will run 66 on GPS. Holeshot is very good until it gets really hot, thats where the hydrolic jack plate really shines.

I have a 2000 Sabre and Im currently running a mercury 150 xr6 and a 23p tempest. Im looking at maybe getting a fury. Would I see any performance improvements and what pitch should I go with. Also would a 24p tempest make any difference. Just needing some info before I drop the coin on a new prop. My 23p does well now but I can hit 6000 rpms when trimmed out and Im by myself. Im not sure on exact jack plate setting but I have played with it. I have a rooster tail even with the cowl and good water pressure. Thanks.

Im running the exact same rig with the same Ultrex and 4 batteries. 25 Fury 3 with extra pvs holes or fury 4 25, but you will lose a couple mph. Im usually at 2400 feet elevation, but Ive run the same 25 Fury 3 with a load at sea level and been at 80mph.

Also have same rig but a 14 model. 4 batteries, 36v Fortrex, and 2-8 Blades. I run a tuned 26 Fury3 fall through spring and a 25 Fury3 through the summer. 80+ in the winter with the 26 with a good hole shot and 77 or so in the summer with 25. Loaded down in the summer the hole shot is not terrible but I will send the 25 to Ronnie Gilbert after the summer and have him give me some hole shot. Thanks guys, I have a friend in the boat biz thats going to let me demo a few props this week. Hopefully we can get solution this week.
