Proper hitch drop for an 07 or 08 Suburban

Looking at getting a new 07 or 08 Suburban. Can someone tell me what the proper drop hitch is in inches for a Puma/FTD trailer? Thanks, Mike Whitten

I dont know for sure the drop on that vehicle, but the top of the ball should be around 19 inches. Good luck with the new vehicle. You will need either a 6″ or 8″ drop depending on the tires and if it is a 4×4 or not. We have a 4×4 on stock 17″ rims and I am going to get a 6″ drop and it should be about perfect.

I had to go to an 8″ on my 07 Suburban with my 07 Puma. The six inch was not enough. Im running a 2 wheel drive with 17″ wheels.

I got sick of buying different hitches for different vehicles so I bought this DT Hitch which is awesome!
