Puma Decal Issue

The Deans cover for my 07 Puma came with straps that are located approximately mid-way between the wheels on the tandem axle trailer. When those straps are tightened, the cover stretches tightly over the Puma decals, causing them to peel off. The decals are intact, not torn or damaged, so wondering if they can be successfully reattached. If so, need to know what adhesive is recommended, plus preparation instructions.. Also would appreciate suggestions on how I might prevent this from happening again.Considering just leaving the Puma decal off, but would rather not do that if there is an easy fix. Thx for any help offered! C.

Lets just put some new decals on that area and doll it back up. Then lets try to keep it from happening again. Also loosen the straps some, if you can while storing it. BCBLast edited by Bass Cat Boats on January 10th, 2008, 2:40 am, edited 1 time in total.

If the straps are left loose, the cover sags a bit and water then “puddles” on the cover when it rains (boat is stored outside; no other space available). The Deans cover did not originally have these two straps — they installed them only after I experienced the “puddling” problem. How to obtain new decals/cost? C.

Puddling is an issue with one left outside and covered, as is the tension on the straps and rub rail, which impressions and indents the rub rail in heat times. We try to put something under the cover to hold the cover up when stored to remove some of that tension. The best cover overall is still the Aurora Tent Style, though most folks today prefer the Aqualon material similar to the Deans, over the Sunbrella. As mentioned above, give them a buzz in the factory. BCB
