When I purchased this boat from a dealer in Spindale, NC and complained for the the many things wrong with it i was accused of bashing the dealer from a dealer, Phil Addison. The dealer I purchased my boat from is no longer there and there are a lot of circumsatnces for his down fall. Cant even find someone to change pumps in AR and we should buy a new boat? Basscat is the best boat on the market but service needs to be improved. The list was the following from my boat, hole in bottom of boat, no brakes, bald tires, electronics didnt work. brake hubs shot, fuel tank not fastened down, contaminated fuel tank and more. Why you ask?, I trusted him.

Wow. Didnt you notice the bald tires and the hole? You didnt try out the electronics? I trust my dealer too, but Id sure look a used or new boat over, before finalizing the deal. I am sure Im missing something here. Good luck to you in getting things worked out on your boat.

Calling people out around here is NOT going to get you very far… As far as the condition of the boat, you bought a 17 yr old boat probably shouldve looked it over better. Most of the things you said were wrong should be on ANYONES list of things to check before buying a used boat from a dealer or “Joe” on Craigslist. Risk are involved when you buy anything used… Your boat is not under warranty find a trusted mechanic and have him take care of the issues, any trailer shop can fix the brakes and a good fiberglass shop can fix the “hole” BCBs service is top notch, not sure what your expectations are of a manufacturer when you have a 17 yr old boat….?

Locked down as this has been hashed out and details are not going to be disclosed. As for any BCB Dealership in Arkansas working on this boat, that is obviously not a challenge.
