Thanks for the reply Jim. I needed to clean the scabbard it was starting to stink. I took a chance and ran water in it, and it drained out, thank goodness. Basscat really puts thought in their boats. Thanks again.

There is a very small hole in the net scabbard. There also are drain holes in early 2011 models and later. Though this is the first time in 40 years we have drained boxes.

Vault hubs ? They are nothing you need to be concerned about.

Come with a 5 year warranty(if memory is correct). Had them on my 2010 Puma and not one bit of a problem. Got the boat in October 2009 and they were still going strong when I sold it in October 2012. I probably logged 20k+ miles on them.

The white holes are bilge outlets from the bilge pump. Depending on year model the bilge pumps are either 500 or 750 GPH each and operate together and are both (2) auto and manual. The Auto is operated by a float switch in the sump area, usually right in front of those bilge pumps. This appears to be a 1988 through 1994 Pantera II model, from this picture we think it is between a 1988 and 1991 model. If this is a Sabre or Caracal Another question is what is the yellow paper looking part stuck in the cowl vent?

I had a 94 P2 and that yellow tag may be from the built in charger cord. I ran mine out of the vent.

Not a bad idea running the charger out of that vent. I know youd still have to open the lid for venting purposes but it would make it easier to get to. Looks just like the back of my 88 caracal I use to have! Man I love those DEEP SIDES. Dont make them like that no more. Back in those days I nite fished alot . Thanks BCB. I thought bilge just have never really had that much water in there to pump out. Its a 94 P2, by the way. Yellow thing- sticker on on-board charger cord and yes I open lids when charging. Thanks guys!
