I am wanting to mount my Lowrance LSS 1 unit in the drivers side rod locker in my 08 PII similar to how it is installed below. I am wanting to make sure the walls are thick enough so that the screws dont go though to the gel coat under the console? If so what size screws are the best to use so I dont go though the other side. lol
