I was out on Mobile Bay yesterday in a buddys 18 bass boat, not a BassCat. We thought we could fish out into the Gulf at the mouth of Mobile Bay. The rollers coming in off the Gulf were not large at all, maybe two feet. While we fished, the waves washed over the back of the boat onto the deck. We decided to forget fishing there. My Cougar sits low in the water at the back end too. I want to get a BayCat in 10 months or so. Does the BayCat sit as low while resting in the water as my Cougar? I want to stay with a BassCat, but if the BayCat sits that low, it might not work for me.
