I just got this boat sat.i know the dealer replaced the left sending unit for the fuel gauge before I got it.the issue Im having is I turn the key on and the left tank reads full which is good cause it was full.but I turn on the master power switch and it goes to empty.i turn off the power switch and it goes back to full.then sunday coming across the lake I seen the gauge was reading full with the power switch on.now it just reads empty no matter what.any ideas what could cause this.
I think Im gonna try to get a wiring diagram and see if its wired correctly.i think I saw a breaker installed inline on the wire.not sure why that would be there.my triton was wired backwards and there wasnt any kind of breaker in the wiring that I saw.
Honestly, it is the yellow wires and the gauge is powered by the ignition, which is usually purple and on the engine harness. We dont know that a diagram would assist you and when you call for service they will direct you.
Thank you.yeah I called yesterday and they said the dont have wiring diagrams for boats made after 1993.thanks for the info.im out of town but when I get back in town Ill check the wires.
