You can get one also that shows 3 features at once that if you get a warning horn it will tell you wat the alarm is. And then theres the eco monitor. It really depends on wat amount of money your willing to spend. Its a simple install.all work will be performed at the dash. I just installed mine in the speedo hole. I feel like my monitor paid for itself the first time I got chunks of wood in my thermostats. So will the Basic but for the extra money (about $100) you get additional functions and a single screen that will display three separate data points; well worth the extra.My MercMonitor was selected based on the motor serial number.
