Dont add foam. You can, based on the size of the lure, drill out to increase the air volume and then fill the opening only but I would only do that as a last resort. I cant tell for certain, but it doesnt look like LC left any material in the body that could come out. If you had one of the Pointers that has 3 hooks you could just leave it off.I change the hooks and split rings – they add a surprising amount of weight by %. I think the LC comes with #6 trebles. You could change out to #8s and probably get it to rise. Water temp and line weight will make a big difference. Ward is right, the heavier mono will float it some. Another think you might try is a lightwire treble – that maybe what the LC hook is classified as already. I do know the #8 is the smallest size Ive seen. John
