BCB, the boat henslayer is asking about is the PII under Bowden Marine and the name on the order is Wooten.ThanksMike
We dont know that they will fit, if they will? We never heard that one, perhaps someone tried them without letting us know. We are more suspect we directed them to the Monticello, AR company which build the windscreens and they may still have the molds.
We had a real issue finding a body yesterday there. They apparently had meetings this week and the staff size is limited and those not in meetings were taxed.Give them another try and we think they will be available.BCB
Ok thanks
The market demographic on sales in your area actually looks a lot different than your view of it. There is no pressure on various models, though suggestions on data from those regions and our market direction. Tpop, they have the data from your area by units sold in size and brand, by county seat. We can actually have that data by address where units were sold into if we so chose that data. The market does sell 20 models in that area new, other than one brand. One brand has a significant volume in 18 and 19 models, and we dont feel most of those are Bass Cat customers. So the answer is no, though the answer is different than your view. BCB
I am speculating that the guys who do the work on yours are also building new boats and they have to schedule down time from production to work on yours. My understanding is they are pretty busy in the factory. The good news is they are the best in the business and it will be done right. And maybe a little quicker than you think. In addition to current production, they have the Classic and the OI coming up, and they will build the boats for those in addition to the ordered boats.
Id say it may be less than the time you were quoted, but as Sparker said, I believe some of the same people who are building new boats will do the work on yours. I had to take my Caracal to Mountain Home on December 12 to get some work done on the trailer and a new Hambys installed, plus some other minor things. I talked to BCB last week and mine might be done this week. So it is something that takes time, but rest assure that it will be done correctly.
We dont have to have your boat for 8 weeks, though it may be 8 weeks before we get to it as we have other jobs already scheduled. We do want to see you continue and use the boat and we certainly can provide bunks for replacement in Sherwood and not impact your use pattern till they have your boat on the final days for the repair. BCB
Like I said its not being negative or derogatory I Love me some Basscat Boat, I understand that the boat has to come off the trailer and more than likely flip, Even I understand its no 30 minute job. I was just trying to understand the time frame that was mentioned to me by the dealer. The boat should be in Mountain Home as of today. Mike at H2o said they was getting one delivered to them today and mine was going back in its place. Basscat by far is the best I have ever had, I have had several other brands and this is my first Cat wish I had tried Basscat out about 12 boats ago. Kudos all the way around to Basscat, they have a superior boat line Best looking boat, the attention to detail is second to none. Ride and Performance, what can a person say other than, WOW! January and Febuary are the two month I would say I use the boat the least mainly due to inclimate weather. Thanks for responding Basscat.Last edited by muddywaters on January 24th, 2017, 9:47 pm, edited 2 times in total.
Thanks Billius and sparker for comments
Dealers often take advantage of the trucks being in their area and send the boats back and we can not fit them into a schedule any faster. They simply wait here on their real time position. The management does not prefer to have the boats sent back and prefers them to be in the consumers hands until they are ready to work on them. That makes us all happier!Last edited by Bass Cat Boats on January 25th, 2017, 3:52 am, edited 1 time in total.
I have 16 as well with the Gatorback bunks, do these need to be replaced?
Monitor the bunk conditions while on the water before loading. The bunks will show wear if the hull is going to be impacted. There are some needing bunks and many that are just fine.
Thinking of switching from CMC jackplate to a Bobs Actionjack. Need to know the transom thickness on a 1997 Sabre so I can order the correct mounting hardware.
I cant answer the question directly, but I can tell you the 45″ shaft on the Ultrex is actually 48″ long. Youre Motorguide Tour 72 proably as a 45″ shaft (which is a true 45″). The Ultrex will use the same bolt holes as the Motorguide so with that information, you should be able to see if teh rod box will open with the Ultrex. If I can help, let me know.JohnJones Trolling Motor Services870 773 3474Motorguide/MinnKota/PowerPole/Lowrance/Humminbird
