Topic: Question for BCB about a 2017 Caracal?

I got caught in a rain storm last night, and when I went to dry out the boxes the one that holds my oil tank had about two inches of water in it. So my question is, there is no drain hole, should there be .

There should be a drain hole and there have been some that were not drilled and have the inserted grommet sleeve.

I have the same issue, just not anywhere near a dealer, could some one post a pic of exactly where the drain should b??Water in mine is mostly from the cup holderThanksGene

I just took some pictures from my oil compartment on my 2016 Caracal. This is factory drilled. You can see the drilled hole. However if you have the rear tanks I would not drill it there. The tank is litterally just on the other side of the compartment wall. I would locate it in the center or the other corner. Hope this helps.Gary

Be careful drilling yourselves, there is a sealed foam compartment below it.

Yes, drill on an angle sideways, not down as there is a sealed chamber below it.
