I had a post back on 02/16 titled “HDS-8 install on a 2007 Sabre FTD”. I wont recap, but have an additional question. Im down to one of two mounting locations for the RAM-D-111-C and the HDS-8. One is on the left (port) side of the console, but Im concerned it will be in the way when moving around the boat. The other is on the right (starboard) side of the console just above the gunwale. That will require that I make a radius cut (1/2 circle) to the back lower corner of the windshield. I just dont have room in front of the shifter on the inside wall.For BCB, what is the best way to make a clean cut to the windshield? And can I get some opinions on which location some of you other owners think would be better the of the two.
