question for Sherm

I am thinking about using the hole that my speedometer fills to place a ram mount for a humminbird 898. Do you make a plate that would do this?

Not sure if he makes one or not, but i did ask this about 3 years ago, and for the life of me i cant figure out why any boat manufacture is even wasting time installing a speedometer on a boat. Gps in electronics tells me everything i need to know and accurately. Even my current speedo is linked to my gps and i cant even tell you if that needle moves on it or not as its useless to even look at when i have the screen right in front me.

I agree about not putting a speedometer in them anymore. If Sherm can make a mount I will definitely make other use of that space to keep from drilling into my dash. Other option is to put it on the rail.

I had a Merc Monitor put in the Speedo hole and my HDS on a Sherms mount. I have a Sabre FTD. So far I am Loving it. I just wished the Merc Monitor was a little more visible for these old eyes.Dan
