The ratchets must be handled with care and we roll them up in the cover stored. We fold the covers to center lengthways and roll nose to tail, folding the ratchets into the last roll. These hook tips go in the trim stop recess pockets on Yamaha engines, and on Mercury they go into the holes on the trim alignment arms. Just put them where the straps are straightest.
