I just purchased a 2008 Bass Cat Puma with an Etec 225 HO (all brand new). The current electronics are: Lowrance LMS- 520 on dash and X-510 on bow. I would like to move the 520 to the bow and place a HDS-7 in the dash. I also want to network these together. Will the current transducer already installed in the boat work with the HDS unit? What do I need to network (if I am using the correct term here?) these together? My goal is to be able to set a waypoint at either location and the waypoint will save on both units. Any help is appreciated.
