Spent some time outside yesterday and am paying the price today. Need to be fishing, but all the ragweed in the air makes it tough! Hope everyone else is doing better than me. Going to have to get a shot tomorrow!

Sounds like you have bad allergies; hope you start to feel better and are able to fish. The ragweed has been bad around here as well. Hopefully this thunderstorm that is about to hit will wash some of the pollen out of the air.

I sure hope. I am suppose to go camping next weekend and plan on taking the boat to fish. Ive taken about every kind of allergy meds I have, and feel like Im about to zonk out. Better than not breathing, though.

You might try taking Singulair tabs. I have a long history of allergies and 6 surgeries. It has vastly improved my time spent outdoors.

Now Id be careful about recommending singulair- drug has good and bad sides thats for sure. Most effective drugs I see on most folks ragweed is nasal steroids(Nasonex,Nasacort, Rhinocort, Veramyst) or nasal antihistamines(Patanase, Astepro). Problem with nasal antihist and oral antihist is sedation. Also could get on shots but thats a long run for a short seasonal slide for you-C.O.D. Jr. III

I know how you feel. Itchy watery eyes, sneezing, coughing up nasty things! Hate the drugs! They make me feel worse than the allergies. I started using a new product back in april thats all natural. Got the harpoon today. Things will be much better in a couple days. Been taking zyrtec, clariton, tylenol severe allergy, and eye drops. Feel like a zombie, but at least I can breathe!
