Ram x-grip mount for iphone

Do any of yall use this mount in your boats? Would like to know how well it holds a phone in a boat while running in rough water.

Cant speak for the RAM X grip specifically, but I have LifeProof case iPhone car mount under my console. The suction mount has a locking knob that keeps in place no matter what the conditions. It hasnt been jarred loose or dropped my iPhone in the past 6 months. I plan on bolting it under the console. Im worried about the way the phone sits in the mount on the x-grip since i doesnt really lock or snap in. I bought the waterproof otterbox so i dont think the lifeproof mount would work. Wish i would have got the lifeproof now.
