Has anyone got an idea of the height from the ground to the top of a stowed 8 ft powerpole on a Pantera II? Im planning on building a new shop before I purchase my new rig and want to make sure that I get big enough doors. Also what is the length on trailer of a P2? Im still considering a Sabre but if figure if I build it big enough for the P2 a Sabre will fit no problem.

Cant tell you the height above the transom, but can tell you the 8ft powerpole is apx 55″ long, from bottom of pole to top of knuckle. It is going to mount with about 10 to 12″ below the top of the transom. If I was gonna build a shop for rig I would build big enough for Queen Mary. I have 9 doors and 25 deep. Eyra fits pretty sweet, can break tongue and walk around front and rear of rig in garage. Am pulling out next week for 4 day trip to LOZ. Up late last night waxing and detailing rig down to the lug nuts. I have to pull rig outta the garage to detail tires on Port side because its too close to the wall. Raining last night, today and tomorrow. Have got 2 dirty tires and cant go anywhere till they are clean. I work 12 hrs on Sat & Sun–GRRRRRRR. Plan ahead.Last edited by 1hoteyra on October 9th, 2014, 5:47 pm, edited 1 time in total.

I have a 2015 PII and my shop is 30 deep. Plenty of room to park the boat and walk around it. Pantera II page shows the storage space to be 243″. Sorry I cant answer the question about the power poles because I am still waiting for them to be delivered.

Just go with a 10 foot door . That should cover it . — My garage is 30 wide x 40 deep with 10 foot doors , so it isnt even a factor for me . — Plenty of room to do whatever I want to . — Hoss

I have poles on my pIII and they squeeze under a 7 door by a 1.5″ so I know you would be good with a 8 door.

On my 14 Puma FTD, from the concrete to the top of my 8 Blade is 7 feet. I have an 8 door with plenty of room but, I would also go with a 10 door in case you needed the extra clearance in the future.

My 8 ft. Blade is exactly 7ft. From the slab. Go at least 8 ft. Tall and 10 ft. Wide Doors and 26 ft. Deep to give you some wiggle room!Chris CoupelPaulina, La.Chris CoupelPaulina, La.

Thanks guys! Ive been thinking 8ft x 10ft on the door. and around 30 feet deep. really want to go 40 wide or vice versa. I need a storage area to eliminate some clutter around the house and also storage for 4 wheeler, lawn equipment, tackle and a work area. I have an OLD Eldocraft that was my grandfathers. I would really like to restore it to original condition. right now its just sitting down by pond. I plan on pulling it in the shop when its built and rebuilding it from the ground up. So I want to make sure I have room for that type of stuff as well.
