I bought my 2019 Lynx lightly used. On the build sheet it says Caracal gas. Does that mean it has two 26 gallon tanks instead of the 32?

Looking into getting Raptors to replace my talons. What jackplate bracket do I need 4″ or 6″?

We have no idea why it’s labeled Caracal Gas Tanks, as that’s not an option we offer and someone probably custom ordered it. It should have the larger tanks and that is not an available option. If it was done that’s an error.

as for the Raptors, we haven’t mounted them and we defer to Johnson Outdoors on that. We don’t suggest brackets on Power Poles, Raptor poles or any anchors.

Run it out of gas and see how much it takes to fill it back up.

Ok I checked the actual tanks and they are stamped 32 gallons.

So on my 21 cougar with a bobs extreme jackplate, neither the 4” or 6” adapter plates worked for my Raptors. I went to Power Poles site and used their selector to determine which bracket to use. Ordered and looks like they will work great. Minnkota is working on more brackets but I’m thinking it will be awhile before they will be available.
