Can anyone recommend a good dealer that deals in Yamaha/basscats. I am going to try and repower my cougar early next year with a new VMAX SHO and dont know of any Yamaha dealers in Tx. I bought my boat in Tennessee when I was there a few years ago and I am currently running a mercury. I am in the lubbock area now but the only dealer around is at only a evenrude dealer. I would be willing to travel to dallas or houston or where-ever I guess and I know I could go with any dealer but I would like to stick to one that deals in cats so they would be more familiar with rigging it correctly. Ill second Rockwall Marine. Ive owned two Cats and Tommy and his team are the only ones I trust with my Cat. I drive past several boat dealers on my way out to Tommys place.
Thanks – Ive used rockwall before but didnt think they were a yamaha dealer, but I emailed tommy and he said when he gets the pricing from them on the new SHOs he thought he could fix me up.
you wont go wrong with Tommy. never heard anything but good things about Rockwall Marine. from what I understand Rockwall Marine has a monopoly on repair business in that part of Texas cause they are that good! good luck with your repower!
Yes, on Rockwall Marine! Been doing business with Tommy, Glyn, and Blake since 97 when they were all over at the Fishing Store in Garland. I drive the extra miles to get the job done right the first time!
