I have been contemplating removing the non working Low. flasher. I bought the boat used in late spring and the unit has never worked and that is not a big problem. I was just wondering if anyone has removed their flasher and what did they use to cover up the hole in the console.

Leave it in there ! Too much work, unless you can find a clock to fit, or one of the new multi gauges !

I did see where someone replaced theirs with a remote for a Sony stereo some years back. I would leave it in….until I was able to get BCB to ship me a Vexilar flasher! If you want an in dash, then Vexilar is the answer.

I would condsider the Vexilar as I am old school and learned to understand flashers. I take it the hole pattern is the same for the Vexilar as it is for the Low.? With the transducers for the console graph and the flasher unit located side by side in the bilge can you run them both at the same time without interference?

You will have some interference, though the flasher is very nice if you fish shallow or run in channels.

Is the flasher available from Bass Cat? I dont see it on the pages.

Yep…Id just leave the flasher in the dash, even if its not working. I have a Lowrance 1440 in my boat, but have never tried running it with the HB turned on. In my 06 CougarFTD, if I ran the Lowrance flasher with the Lowrance 332c on at the same time, neither of them would read depth well at all. So there was a lot of interference in that rig.
