SIAP…I couldn’t find an answer using the search feature here or on BBC. I have a 2012 Eyra with factory installed HB 1198c SI in the console. Long overdue, but finally getting around to replacing it. Given the large hole in the console, what is the largest HB Mega graph that will fill that hole? Or does Sherm (or anyone else) have a mount that will cover that hole. Just doesn’t seem to be much fiberglass left around the perimeter to structurally hold a mount, but am sure others have already ventured down this path. Other option is to leave the 1198 in the console and use primarily for mapping and add a second graph on the side. Thanks for any input.

I had the same problem with my 2012 Cougar. I was going to replace it with a newer graph or but there was not enough fiberglass around the “hole” on the dash to mount a different/larger graph. I ended up keeping my 1198 and using it for a map and installing a second graph (Solix 12) on a mount on the right side of the dash.

Thanks Jeff! If you get a chance, can you post a picture of your second mount? I assume you used a RAM mount and mounted on the side of the gunnel or the console? I’ve been looking at Sherm mounts, but am afraid the lead time may be quite a bit given the time of year it is. Also looking at BBT and Precision Sonar options. Will get a consult early next week from Duckett marine and see what they come up with. Thanks for your response.
