The circuit breakers have an Aux end and a Battery end. When I replaced the one on the cranking battery it was battery end toward the battery. this is how i thought it should be.I then replaced the ones on the trolling motor batteries. the ones i was replacing had the Aux end towards the battery terminal on both batteries. When I put the new ones on i reversed these and put the battery end towards the battery terminal. Were these supposed to be reversed or am i ok for putting them on the way the label reads Battery to the Battery post? Thanks Trey
Except on the jumper wire, the battery end should go to the battery. On the jumper wires they should go to the positive post.Last edited by Bass Cat Boats on April 10th, 2011, 12:10 pm, edited 1 time in total.
what is a jumper wire? All i did here was take off the 40 amp in line circuit breakers on the trolling motor batteries and replaced them with 50 amp. Would i be dealing with a jumper wire in this situation? When i replaced them they had the Aux facing the battery and the Battery end facing away from the battery. When i put the two 50 amp ones on i put the battery end toward the battery and Aux end away from the battery. Was this right or do they need to be flipped? Thanks Trey
