It is a #2 bit, and I had one in my Black and Decker kit (didnt know B&D was from China, so said the plastic case), and I can reach it from the vent – I will do the string thing – One other question, until I get my used 3000 antenna and adapter in, Id still like to troubleshoot and verify its the antenna. I located the 3 cables leaving the 332C, they are even marked with small tags. I found the one that says MNEA 2000 GPS Power, but it goes to a bundle and heads to the back toward the antenna. At the battery I cant isolate it from the others. There is a 5 amp fuse at the battery, and it is good. Someone said the fuse may be under the console, but I didnt see one. In fact the 5a was the only fuse I saw anywhere. I do have the pin configuration from Lowrance so I guess I can unplug the blue connector under the console to check voltage. If nothing else Ill get more familiar with my new used 06 Puma. I knew I bought a great boat but am finding out that the lagniappe (pronounced “lan-yap” – cajun for “a little something extra”) was unexpected – being in the the “Bass Cat Family”.
